A Refrigeration Delivery Is
a Project, Not a Drop-Off.
Getting a rack, case lineup, or walk-in from the truck to full operation takes planning that starts weeks before the delivery date. Here is how our construction and installation teams run it.
Before the truck rolls.
Every delivery starts with an engineering review: confirming dimensions against door openings and corridors, checking floor loading, verifying electrical capacity, and sequencing the work around store operations so the business keeps running.
For occupied stores, that sequencing matters as much as the equipment. Overnight and early-morning windows, protected pathways through the sales floor, and coordination with store management all get planned in advance.
Delivery day, step by step.
On the day itself, the crew works a checklist that has been refined across thousands of installations:
- Staging: equipment is received, inspected for transit damage, and staged in the agreed zone.
- Rigging and placement: units are moved with the right equipment for their weight and the building’s constraints.
- Mechanical and electrical connection: refrigerant lines, drains, and power are connected by licensed trades.
- Commissioning: systems are charged, started, and tuned to spec, with temperatures verified before handover.
- Handover: the store team gets a walkthrough, and the installation records go into the site service history.
